From what everyone else saw, they wasted their time shoe-horning a stupid story in; sh*tting on all of the male superheroes (even literally p!ssing on the corpse of one). Only Wonder Woman got respect and praise (even from Lex Luthor, which is hilariously out of character). And then it seems like they ran out of time to actually make the gameplay good.

That certainly sounds like everything implied when saying "woke" these days, doesn't matter if you hate the word when used accurately lol
Ruining another game because of this god-awful trend is a perfectly good reason to continue hating it.
